MiniMon Privacy Policy

1. What MiniMon does with data

MiniMon reads live performance information from Windows in order to display it to you: CPU, memory, GPU, disk and network activity, temperatures where the hardware exposes them, battery state, and the list of running processes with their resource usage. When you open an app's Connections view, MiniMon also shows that app's open network connections (addresses and ports) as Windows reports them. This information is read from standard Windows interfaces, shown on screen, and discarded as it refreshes. It is never transmitted anywhere.

2. What is stored on your device

• Settings. Your theme, accent colour, hotkey, alert thresholds, window position, rules you set for individual apps (such as a priority) and similar preferences are saved in the app's private storage on your PC.
• History. If you use the history graphs, recent metric samples are kept locally so the 1-hour and 24-hour views can be drawn. They stay on your device.
• CSV logs. If you turn on CSV logging, MiniMon writes metric samples to a file at the location you choose. You own that file and can delete it at any time.
• Trial start date. The date MiniMon first ran is kept in its private storage so the 7-day trial of Pro features can end on time.
• Problem reports. If MiniMon crashes or stops responding, it saves a report file in its private storage. The file holds part of MiniMon's memory, which can include the names and file paths of programs that were running. Nothing is sent automatically: on the next start MiniMon tells you the report exists and offers to show you the file, so you can email it to us if you choose.

Uninstalling MiniMon removes its private storage. CSV files you exported to your own folders are yours and are not touched.

3. Network access

MiniMon does not connect to the internet and never sends anything to us. It has no update checker, no telemetry, no automatic crash upload, no analytics and no advertising component. Its network-related code only reads what Windows already knows about your PC: the byte counters of your network adapters, so it can show upload and download rates, and the connection list Windows keeps for each app, shown when you open Connections. "Send feedback" in the menu shows our address and can open your own email app with it filled in; nothing is sent unless you send that email yourself.

Windows itself works independently of MiniMon: depending on your Windows diagnostic data settings, Windows Error Reporting may send Microsoft a report when any app crashes, and Microsoft gives developers aggregated install, usage and crash statistics for their Store apps. Those statistics are counts we cannot tie to you, and you control them in Windows Settings under Privacy & security.

4. Purchases and the free trial

MiniMon is free. MiniMon Pro is an optional in-app purchase (a Microsoft Store add-on), and new users can try the Pro features for 7 days first. The purchase is handled entirely by the Microsoft Store using the Store service built into Windows. MiniMon asks Windows whether your account owns MiniMon Pro and receives a yes or no. It does not see your Microsoft account, your name, your payment details or your purchase history. The 7-day trial is counted on your PC from the start date described in section 2 and is never sent anywhere. 5. Permissions

MiniMon is a full-trust desktop app, which is what allows it to read system-wide performance counters and end processes. It does not use the camera, microphone, location, contacts or any other personal device capability. Windows does not let Microsoft Store apps run as administrator, so processes that run with administrator rights cannot be ended from MiniMon; it tells you so and offers to open Task Manager instead. MiniMon never asks for elevation.

6. Children

MiniMon is a general-purpose utility that collects no personal information from anyone, including children.

7. Your rights

Because MiniMon collects no personal data, there is nothing for us to access, correct, export or delete on your behalf. Everything the app stores lives on your own PC under your control. If you have a question or believe this policy is inaccurate, contact us and we will respond within 7 days.

8. Changes to this policy

If a future version of MiniMon ever changes how it handles data, this page will be updated with a new date at the top and the change will be described in the app's Store listing before it takes effect.
